Manitoulin Island is where I spend my summers. It is the largest fresh water island in the world. It is a special place where my family and I relax and enjoy the breath taking surroundings. This textile art collection shows how natural it is that I would capture it in fabric.

Meldrum Bay Marina

Manitoulin Island, Canada is a jewel in Lake Huron. I spend most of my summers there and this marina is in a small town on the west end of the island. Wild poppies bloom during the month of July.

Outfitters

This general store was owned by good friends. It is the hub of the community with having the post office, gas station, hardware, groceries and liquor store. The poppies grow wild during July giving a show of colour. “We miss you Trish”.
