Lake Penage Quilt Art Gallery

Another fond childhood memory of the summers spent on Penage Lake, Ontario. This marina serviced the cottagers for many years until it was torn down in 1981.

The Penage Queen was one of the first boats of its kind on the lake. It was the workhorse for the Degroot family, who were long time residence of Lake Penage.

Many trips were made bring supplies and family members to the water access cottage. The large white inboard was a familiar sight cruising the waters of Penage Lake.

Privately-owned boathouses that cottagers use to house their boats line the shore on Lake Penage, Whitefish, Ontario, Canada.

There are many bush pilots around Lake Penage in Northern Ontario, Canada. Since I was a young girl, I have spent many hours flying with my brother. I have titled this picture after the call letters on this Cessna 180.
